Employers
Trackside Careers lists Formula 1 roles from official sources only: your own careers site and the recruiting system you use. Every listing links to your site, where people apply.
You decide how your roles appear. Ask us to remove, correct or upgrade them below: we act within one working day.
What we read
- Your public careers pages and job feeds, through our crawler TracksideBot. It obeys robots.txt, makes one request at a time, never logs in and never gets around a block. The TracksideBot page lists the organizations whose sites it reads and how often; we send the exact hostnames to site owners on request.
- We never take your jobs from other job boards, aggregators or agencies.
- We remove recruiters' names, email addresses and phone numbers before we store anything, and keep raw copies of what we fetched for 30 days only.
What we show, and what permission changes
Until you tell us otherwise, every listing is in facts mode. With your permission, it can show more:
| Mode | A job page shows |
|---|---|
| Facts (default) | The title, team, places, dates, contract and hours, salary only as you state it, an excerpt of at most 200 characters, the source, and “Apply on your site”. |
| Full text (your permission) | Everything above, plus your full job description. |
| Full text and Google markup (your permission) | Everything above, plus schema.org JobPosting data, so the role can appear in Google’s job search. Google treats postings made for an organization without its authorization as misrepresentation, so we only add it with yours. |
| AI processing | AI sorts roles by discipline and seniority and writes a short summary labelled as AI-written. Say no and we skip AI for your roles. We never train AI on your content. |
A closed role shows a short “This role has closed” note, never your description or an apply link, and leaves our sitemap at once. A removed role goes completely and can't come back on a later run.
Make a request
We review every request within one working day (Monday to Friday). For urgent removals, email removals at tracksidecareers dot com.
What happens next
- We check that the request comes from the employer, and may reply to the address you gave if we need to.
- When we apply a removal, the role closes on our site and its stored text is deleted at once; it leaves our sitemap, and our next runs can't add it back. Removing all of an organization's jobs also covers roles you publish later.
- Facts only, no AI and permission changes apply to every source we read your roles from.
- Corrections and personal-data removals are made by hand, also within one working day.
- A request about your own personal data gets an answer within one month; see our privacy policy.
Other ways to opt out
To stop TracksideBot reading your site at all, add User-agent: TracksideBot and Disallow: / to your robots.txt; it checks before every run, so the change takes effect within 24 hours. Then ask us to remove the roles already listed.
